Tasting Notes
Even though the vines are exclusively in the village of Meursault, they are not all qualified in the AOC so the wine is bottled under regional Bourgogne Chardonnay. From vines close to the domaine in Meursault. Quite a sunny, creamy aspect to the wine, which shows white peach, lemon and gentle wood spice, though there’s no new oak used. Medium bodied with sweet lemon and rock melon fruit and a nice salt-pith offset. Not heaps of energy here but it’s good to drink, and there’s a nice sweep of acidity to finish.
