Philippe Gonet

Founded in 1830, Champagne Philippe Gonet is located in the heart of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Grapes all benefit of the legendary terroir of a limestone subsoil, rich in fossils, 40 meters deep, formed more than 100 million years ago. The 20 hectares of the family's vineyards are spread out on 35 plots planted in 8 different villages. The Philippe Gonet style combine minerality and pleasure.

Vinification

The house’s Rosé is composed of 90% Chardonnay, paired with 10% Pinot Noir from the village of Vertus on the Côte des Blancs. The cellar master chose to make this cuvée a blended Rosé, bringing together all the freshness and fi nesse of a Chardonnay with the structure and fruit of a Pinot Noir. Cellar aging lasts at least 3 years in order to develop. Dosage: Brut 7g/L.
