Tasting Notes
The nose is intense with aromas of fresh red and black fruits such as strawberries, plums, and figs. Spicy notes recalling nutmeg and black pepper intermingle very well with aromas from the French oak barrels along with a touch of dark chocolate, tobacco, and toasted nuts. The palate is smooth and very harmonious. The soft, round tannins lend a very pleasing sweet sensation to the mid-palate. With medium volume and rich natural acidity, this Merlot reaches an elegant finish with moderately fruity persistence.
