Tasting Notes

This red Burgundy offers beautiful notes of black fruits and beautiful toasted notes. The wine has a beautiful tannic structure, fine notes of spices and aromas of gourmet and nicely acidulous forest fruits. Fresh and lively, the cuvée offers a nice tasting moment and good aging potential. Red meats or poultry will be ideal with this beautiful cuvée.

Labruyere Prieur Selection

The Labruyère family's wine-growing history began in 1850 when the founder of the Mâcon branch of the Labruyère family, Jean-Marie, settled in Les Thorins on what would become the Moulin-à-Vent Appellation in April 1924. These wine-growing roots subsequently developed in northern Burgundy, as the Labruyère family settled in Meursault at Domaine Jacques Prieur in 1988. In order to complete the Domaine's already wide offer, Edouard Labruyè.

Terroir

This Pinot Noir comes from the famous terroir of Marranges , a cold terroir which brings tension and structure to the wine thanks to fairly cool temperatures.

Vinification

The vatting lasts 20 days at controlled temperature in open wooden vats. Aging is carried out in oak barrels, 10% of which are new barrels for 12 months.
